NOMS AND GULPS: Gyokuro at Mall @Alam Sutera Review

Hey ya! This time I'm gonna do a food review on my blog as I've always wanted to do. Haha! I actually like to post pictures of food on my Instagram, but since I also have a blog now, then I thought why not post it here too? So for the first time, it is going to be Gyokuro at Mall @Alam Sutera. It's a small yet cozy... umm... dessert place. The concept is cafe that sells desserts made from Japanese tea, yes, their menus are mostly consist of green tea this, green tea that, matcha this, matcha that, which I LOVE, because I'm a sucker for anything related to green tea or matcha. So when I saw they had a promotion voucher sold at Disdus, of course I immediately bought it (because, why not?). Ok, enough for the blahblahblah... Here are what I tried there:

L: Iced Green Tea with Lychee and Mochi; R: Matcha Parfait

The Iced Matcha was SUPER GOOD I must say. Even I wasn't really thirsty at that time, it still tasted nice and refreshing. The matcha flavor was just perfect, not too strong yet not too subtle. While the mochi, I wasn't too fond of  them (I paid extra Rp 5.000 for those because they're not included in the voucher) as they taste so so, and they were a but mushy and actually kind of watery... umm... yeah, let's just say that I wouldn't purchase them next time.

Matcha Parfait! Well... matcha and vanilla ice cream that have just good amount of sweetness and quite good consistency, which is nice, honey flavored corn flakes, adzuki (sweet red bean paste), 2 mochis and 2 'astors' on the top. I mean what can go wrong with that? :)

Conclusion: Will I ever go back there to try some more of what they have? Aside from me still having some coupons to be redeemed there, yes I will. Their desserts are affordable and nice. The place, even though small, but still comfy :)

Oh, by the way, I have another good thing to mention, their waiters/waitresses treat people who use coupons nicely! :)
