I wasn't the one who only eats junk food and never eat healthy food to begin with, I actually like them all, but I just thought the ratio of me eating healthy food is not enough compared to the not-so-healthy one, and one of the reasons was according to me (and I'm pretty sure to a lot of people), there's no way healthy food can taste as good as unhealthy, greasy, crispy, sugary, carb-loaded, good for mental health food. Let alone taste better. But I proved myself WRONG!
So here I am, sharing one of my favorite smoothie recipe that I'm sure doen't taste like any heathy food at all. No refined sugar needed, no sweetener needed. Just plain natural ingredients.
Recipe for 2 tall glasses
What you need:
- 2 ripe frozen bananas (over-ripe ones are even better)
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted, skinned, and sliced
- 2 tbsp. of unsweetened cocoa powder (you can use any organic, ultra healthy
one, whatever, I only use the regular cocoa powder)
- 1 cup of milk (use soymilk or almond milk to make the vegan version, I used
soymilk though)
- 2 tbsp. of almond butter (if you don't have it, just skip it, still tastes good
anyway)
How you do it:
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender
- Blend until smooth
- Pour them in the glasses and garnish with avocado or sliced bananas if you
want to, but that's optional of course
- Take beautiful photos and post it to Instagram (also optional) or you can just
drink it straightly, whatever
- Done!
