Prequel to The 13 Days Mayo Diet Challenge

Hello everyone. If you know me personally or at least have read my previous post about me doing the clean eating challenge and survived, you must have noticed that in the end of that post, I said something about wanting to do it again and write down my experience day by day. And guess what? I'm doing it again right now! :D

Actually I've been taking a great step on changing my eating habit, from a reckless eater to a not so reckless eater, or you just can say I've become a more health concious person. Yes, I still occassionally eat McDonald's, pizza, fries, cake, chips, gorengan, nasi padang (how can you not???) and the other heavenly sinful stuffs, but I restrict myself from overeating those things. I balance my food and stand more on the healthy side. That was until last November. Hahaha. I mean, with all the weddings and other celebrations that I had to attend (there are food everywhere, duh!), and not to mention the holiday season that's full of treats and other yummy goodness, that's not my entire fault I got carried away a little bit, right? Right??! OK, nevermind. The point is I'm back in the game right now.

So, this time I decided to try a slightly different method from the previous one. How so? Well, if the last time I got to pick my food as long as they didn't contain any form of sugar and starchy substance, this time I join a clean eating/detox/diet program that has been booming lately. Yes, I join the MAYO DIET PROGRAM catering. The reason is just because it's simpler that way. If I had to watch each and every kind of food that I consume and even got my mom to prepare them for me, like she had to separate my part from the rest of the family's, remember not to put any form of starch or sugar in the dish, and so on and so on, this time all I have to do is wait for my food to be delivered. Oh and of course there's a price for that kind of service. Ugh... but that's OK. The mayo diet rules are simple. Strictly no salt, no rice, no ice, no cheating and of course no drama. I have to keep convincing myself that it's just 13 days out of 365, no problem at all, before I start to do it. Hahaha... Btw if you need more details about mayo diet plan, just google it, it's very easy to find.

Anyway, I'm going to keep a daily journal about it, starting from day 1 to 13. It will be on the next post. Hopefully I'll be able to complete it without cheating. Wish me luck! ;)
