NOMS AND GULPS: Karei-ya, Benton Junction - Lippo Karawaci

So today I went to Benton Junction - Lippo Karawaci with my sister, because I've got some unused restaurant vouchers that I purchased on the internet :D (yes, I like to purchase coupons and vouchers on the internet, well... maybe a bit too much, that sometimes it makes me nearly broke while the actual purpose is to save some of my money whenever I want to dine out. Haha...).

Anyway, the first one was Karei-ya. It's a small but cozy place, located just next to Mom Milk. They serve Japanese influenced food like curry rice, wafu pasta, and some donburi dishes. And I guess there were also some fusion menu that looked delicious, but I didn't try them this time because after this, I planned to go somewhere else nearby to have an afternoon tea. And yes, also using voucher :P

So I just got to choose between their pasta and curry rice, which was the package that comes from the voucher :D

Here are the pictures:

Unagi Wafu Pasta - 40something K
The Unagi Wafu Pasta, tbh, was just okay. It didn't taste bad, but not really good either. Idk, but when I had my first bite, it tasted a bit like Indomie seasoning (@-@) Yes, that Indomie. But overall it was good, the pasta was nicely cooked ala aglio olio and the unagi (aside from the tiny pieces) was also good, if only they can give more of it. I wonder is it just because I was using voucher or they really serve the unagi that way even at normal price? Hmm...

Beef Hamburg Curry Rice - 52K
Ha! Bunny shaped rice! I actually like this dish better than the pasta (yes, part of it because the bunny rice, I'm a sucker for those kind of things). It was well presented and tasted good also! The curry wasn't too watery, and it has quite generous of potato pieces inside. The beef hamburg patty, though it was a bit burned on the outside, was great! I actually like it that way :P

Anyway, will I ever go back there again to try some more of their dishes? Yes. But only if there is voucher promo in the future. Hahaha... *cheapskate*
